Prince Charles Hospital Ward Refurbishment - Merthyr Tydfil

We have been employed by both F P Hurley & Sons Ltd and Crown House Technologies to provide complete BMS installations throughout CCU, Oncology, A&E, and the Day Surgery Unit, including bespoke Form 4 control panels across this Cwm Taf NHS Trust site. Challenging and demanding elements of the installation include integration with metering and intelligent smoke dampers. We have been working to specifications by AECOM, Couch Perry Wilkes and Parson Brinkerhoff.

Total contract value in excess of £1m.



Cynon Valley community hospital

Engaged to install the Building Management Control System (BMS) on the new £64 Million, 128 bed Hospital being built in Mountain Ash. The Main Contract for this project is VINCI and we are working under contract with MJN Colston. Our scope of work includes the supply, design, installation and commissioning of the BMS. The Consultant is Buro Happold who specified a Trend system for this project.

The hospital includes mental health and palliative care services along with a midwifery-led birthing unit, including pre and post-natal services.

South Gloucester Council Offices

CMB Engineering engaged us in this Priva project that has proven to be very interesting in terms of Design, interfacing with the Biomass Boiler, ETFE (Ethylene tetrafluoroethylene) roof and the mixed mode ventilation strategy designed by Arup London. The solution employed Monitoring and Targeting software to help analyse energy usage, from the principle that in order to control first you need to measure and then focus your attention where best results are to be found; hence, monitoring and targeting). This contract indicates our intention to partnering with a fresh and innovative company such as Priva. The partnership put us in a strong position, to provide the best solution to keep capital and operating costs to an absolute minimum.
